OURIKA DAY EXCURSION

The Ourika day excursion  will include a 2-hour walk and will go through many Berber villages and cultivated terraces to the village of Timalizine from where we cross the bridge and get back to the car to carry on the journey up the Ourika Valley to the stunning village of Setti Fadma which marks the end of the Tarmac road.

Itinerary

Pick up around 9am from your accommodation in Marrakech and head towards the Atlas Mountains. After some 45 minutes passing through olive tree groves we will arrive at the gate of the Ourika Valley at the village of Tnine Ourika, where a great weekly market is held every Monday where all the surrounding villagers come to buy their needs for the whole week.

If you do the tour on a Monday then you will get change to visit the market before we start the 2 hours walk to Ourika.

The walk will go through many Berber villages and cultivated terraces until the village of Timalizine from where we cross the bridge and get back to the car to carry on the journey up the Ourika Valley.
