What languages are spoken in Morocco?
The official written language is Arabic. The main spoken language is Moroccan Arabic, an Arabic dialect that often includes French and Spanish words. French is very widely spoken throughout the country and often used to conduct business. There are also three Berber languages: Tarifit, Tamazight, and Tashelhit.
Is someone going to meet me at the airport? Are transfers included?
Yes, our Airport Representative will come to the airport to pick you up. We will be displaying a play card of Unique Path trekking company with your name on it. Airport transfer is included.
Can I re-charge camera batteries along the trek?
Yes, Most of the places, you can charge batteries along the trek
What is the best time for trekking?
Best time for trekking is autumn (September through November) and spring (March through May). For winter enthusiasts we also offer a Toubkal winter trek.
What is the Accommodation during the trek?
That depends on season, itinerary and clients interest, we use tents, local houses and mountain huts.
Can I change the trek?
Yes the trek can be changed if you ask for that, or if the weather condition require the trekking route to be altered to ensure your safety.
What should I bring with to the tours?
The following basic equipment checklist should help you with your packing. Please remember that you should always try to keep the weight of your equipment down to a minimum. NB. This is just a check-list. We are not asking you to bring everything on this list; much will depend on personal preference. As a general rule, cyclists will need similar clothing to trekkers. The one additional (essential) item is good quality padded cycling shorts (loose and baggy, as previously discussed).

Cycling shoes (for clipless pedals) or sneakers for flat pedals, suitable clothing, a backpack (so that you can take enough water, because we do NOT have the possibility to refill our bottles during the tour), a helmet (you can also rent one from us), bike gloves (not obligatory, but recommended), money for lunch and do bring a smile

Can I rent a mountain bike & And Equipment?
We offer limited high performance bike rentals at most of our locations. Please ask us for more information on what is available.
Can I bring my bike on the plane?
Yes. Most airlines will charge additional fees for bikes. Fees can be significant – ensure that you review the airline’s policy before finalizing any bookings. We will send you detailed information on packing you bike in our “Before You Go” travel planner upon booking your trip.
How long will we be riding for each day?
You’ll typically spend four to five to seven hours on your bike each day depending on the trip and particular day. for more information on the trip that you are interested in. Or, contact us to discuss exactly what you trip entails.
Who travels with Atlas mountain bike?
Most of the participants are between the ages of 27 and 50. Older and younger travelers are also on our trips. You’ll meet solo travelers and couples on your trip who represent a diversity of interests and occupations and share a common love for mountain biking, the outdoors and adventure travel. Participants come from all over the world.
Do I need a Visa to enter Morocco?
Depending on your nationality, you may need a visa to enter Morocco.
Visa Requirements:
A visa is required by all overseas nationals except for:
Nationals of the European Union (EU) and nationals of the Commonwealth countries.
Nationals of the following countries: Andorra, Argentina, Bahrain, Brazil, Chile, Congo, Cote d’Ivoire, Guinea, Iceland, Indonesia, South Korea, Liberia, Lybia, Liechtenstein, Mali, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, New Zealand, Niger, Norway, Oman, Peru, Philippines, Qatar, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Switzerland, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and Venezuela.
what about the weather ?
Morocco has a very varied geography ranging from sea-level to 4000m- high mountains and a temperate Mediterranean coastline with the harch fringes of the sahara desert. The climate of the High Atlas follows a similar pattern although it is more extreme with bitterly cold winters lasting from October to mid-June. More information CONTACT US
All meals on the trek.
Meals are freshly prepared and cooked and are typical Moroccan dishes (tajine, soup, couscous) , tea and coffee included with all meals.
The services of a qualified, experienced English or French spanish-speaking mountain guide.
Mules, muleteers and cook. The mules carry your heavy luggage (a rucksack or holdall is recommended). You only need carry a day pack.
What is system of payment?
You can pay whatever easier for you but 20% advance and rest of them when you will be in morocco.
What is the best season for trekking in morocco?
The climate in Morocco varies wildly according to the season and area of travel. In the lowlands, the cooler months from October to April are popular among visitors. This time of year is pleasantly warm to hot (around 45°C) during the day and cool to cold (around 15°C) at night. Winter in the higher regions often brings snow and can therefore get seriously cold, particularly at night. Tourists flock to the coastline from June to September for fun in the sun, with warm mostly rain-free days. Further inland it can get hot and rain is rare, which makes the best times to travel March to June and September to December.
As a Muslim country, Morocco observes Ramadan. If you are planning to go on holiday in Morocco during Ramadan, it is important to consider that many restaurants and shops will either be closed or operating on reduced hours during this time
