Explore the Top 5-Day Mountain Bike Trail in Morocco, which starts from Marrakech and goes through some Berber villages. On different days, with various biking legs, The riders get fed and bedded in local hotels. It includes transfers to and from Marrakech airport, accommodation, a guide for the trip, meals (not drinks) and return transport to Marrakesh. A point of emphasis is that there are no enforced minimum or maximum for biking distances per day; participants can overextend themselves seeking a challenge, and opt to cover as much ground each day at their leisure.
Breakfast will be served at the hotel. At 08:00, we will be picked up from the hotel. We will then be driven to Tizgin and from there, the cycling route will commence. We will pass through Ouadar Imi and reach the village of Teurken (1,850 m) where we will have lunch. Afterward, we will continue our journey through the Berber village Ait Aatman until we reach the village of Anamrou (1,800 m). Dinner and overnight stay will be at the gîtes d’etape.
34 km mountain bike After breakfast, we will start the second stage of mountain biking. We will pass by the Anerni village, cross the Tizi N’fourna pass (2,200 m), and descend through several villages including Infagen, Igourdan, Angal, Ait Hamed, Tafgart, Tizgui, and Ameghras to reach Ait Ziteune (1,000 m). Lunch will be provided along the way. Dinner and overnight stay will be at a family home or a gite d’etape.
After breakfast, we will begin the third stage of our mountain biking journey, covering a distance of 52 kilometres. Along the way, we will pass through the Berber villages of Tograman, Tiferwin, Wizilen, and Agdour n’kik. Our destination for lunch will be the village of Asni, and after lunch, we will continue to the village of Tsaa Wirgane (1,400 m), where we will stay for the night at a family home or guesthouse. Our route will take us through Dish called kik and Tizi Wado (1,700 m). Dinner will be provided at our accommodation.
After breakfast, we will go on a 35 km mountain bike ride through the villages of Marigha, Tinzerte, and Tagadert Ait Ali, where we will stop for lunch. Then, we will climb up the valley of Ait Mizan, passing through the famous village of Imlil (1,750 m), and continue up to Mazik at 1,800 m. Dinner and overnight stay will be at gîtes d’étape.
We will cover a distance of 39 km on mountain bikes. We will start the day with breakfast and then begin our journey on the bike path. Passing through Imlil, Ait Suka, and Tamatert, our route will take us to the Tizi n’Tamatert pass, which is situated at an altitude of 2,300 m. From there, we will descend through the valley of Iminen and come across several Berber villages such as Tachdert, Ouanskra, Tamgist, Ikiss, and Amsakrou. We plan to have lunch in the village of Arg before continuing our ride to the village of Imsker. Finally, we will be transferred back to Marrakech.
