Description

Family Trekking Adventures in Morocco - Atlas Mountain Getaways

Amazing family trekking in Morocco. While you explore the Atlas Mountains with your family, we can provide an additional mule for your child to ride if they feel weary.

This can also be offered purely for enjoyment! We can customize any of our itineraries to meet the needs of your family.
For children under 12 years old, we suggest our trekking experience through Imlil Valley, Berber valleys, and Berber markets.
Since we do not advise children under 12 to attempt the summit of Toubkal due to the challenging terrain and high altitude, we have organized a captivating trek focusing on Berber culture in the villages of the High Atlas.
You will be walking for 4 to 5 hours, but the elevation gain varies from day to day.
We have implemented and evaluated groups of students from various schools, and the results show that it has been very manageable for everyone involved!

Enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride through this lively historic city, where you can admire the palaces, visit the souk, and see the well-preserved Ben Youssef Koranic School. You have the afternoon free to enjoy at your own pace—continue shopping and looking for souvenirs, try a traditional hammam, visit the Saadian Tombs, or return to your hotel or riad to unwind.

  • Day 3 Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – travel by horseback or hike to the village of Aremd.

You will have your picnic lunch at the Tamatert pass, which offers views of Jebel Oukaimeden (3205m) and the stunning surrounding plateau. After lunch, you'll begin your journey along the trail leading to a traditional Berber village, eventually reaching Tachedirt, where we will stay overnight.
